How do you use a shared family calendar?
Start with the appointments you need to organise together, such as a school activity, sports class or family visit. Add the relevant family members and note what is needed. The next parent can then find those details without collecting them all over again.
- Add an appointment with its date, time and family members.
- Include the location, travel time and things to bring when needed.
- Check together who will do the drop-off or pick-up and what still needs arranging.
From one appointment to a view of the week
The day view helps with what is happening now; the week and month views help you plan ahead. The week radar highlights busy days, travel time and overlapping appointments. That gives you a reason to review the plan. An alert does not take over the appointment automatically: you decide how to resolve it.
Appointments and tasks each have their place
A dentist appointment has a time; packing a bag is something to finish. MyLivin keeps track of both. Parents can assign tasks, and children use their own child view. Shopping and meals are in the same app, so your weekly menu can be part of the preparation too.

Is MyLivin just a calendar?
No. Alongside the family calendar, MyLivin includes tasks, shopping, meals, children’s chores and a baby log. Choose the features your family uses; you do not need to enable everything.
Does a babysitter automatically see the entire family calendar?
Helpers receive limited access that you configure for each feature. Co-parenting has separate sharing choices between households. Check the access you grant whenever you invite someone or share information.
Can I try the family calendar yet?
MyLivin is available to participants in the private TestFlight pilot on iPhone and iPad. Request a test invitation at support@my-livin.com. We will let you know whether a place is available; features and limits can vary by subscription.
