MYLIVIN · FOR YOUR FAMILY
Co-parenting with clear choices about sharing.
MyLivin helps parents coordinate a child’s schedule between households. Co-parenting is an optional feature. Connect the relevant households and deliberately choose which features and appointments to share.
Available to test in the private iPhone and iPad pilot. Features vary by plan.
Try it with your family
How does planning between two homes work?
Start with the arrangements that matter to both parents: when the child stays at each home, who handles pick-up and what needs to come along at handover. MyLivin supports a co-parenting schedule and an overview of shared information. Review the arrangements together so that the app reflects what you have agreed.
- Invite the other parent to connect your households for co-parenting.
- Set up the schedule and allowed features.
- Choose which appointments and tasks are intended for the other home.
A connection does not give general access to your family
Raising a child together does not mean sharing all family information. The co-parenting connection has its own sharing permissions. An appointment or task does not automatically become visible to the other home simply because the households are connected. The shared overview shows which information is actually shared between the two households.
Inviting a babysitter is a different choice
For a babysitter, au pair or caregiver, use limited helper access. Choose the features that person needs, for example for a handover. Review permissions when your childcare arrangements change and revoke access when it is no longer needed. Available features and the number of connected households depend on the subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to enable co-parenting to use MyLivin?
No. You can use MyLivin with a single family. Enable co-parenting only when you want to coordinate a child’s care and schedule with another household.
Does a co-parent get access to all personal information?
No. Access follows the configured connection and sharing permissions. Encryption is a separate matter: family chat and selected personal details are encrypted on your device, but this does not cover all data. The app and privacy policy explain what is protected and how recovery works.
How can I try co-parenting with another parent?
Ask about the private iPhone and iPad TestFlight pilot at support@my-livin.com. Both parents use their own accounts and connect their households through an invitation. We will let you know whether participation is possible; co-parenting features and limits depend on the subscription.
