MYLIVIN · FOR YOUR FAMILY
Children’s chores become small steps towards something fun.
In MyLivin, children see their own tasks and progress. They earn stars according to their parents’ agreements, help a growth buddy evolve and save towards a personal reward or a shared family goal.
Available to test in the private iPhone and iPad pilot. Features vary by plan.
Try it with your family
How do you set up rewards for your child?
Start with a few clear, achievable agreements, such as reading, homework, playing outside or a household chore. Decide together what a task means; the parent sets up the task and any stars. A reward might be extra tablet time, choosing a film or a family day out.
- Choose the activities and the stars assigned to them.
- Set whether a parent needs to approve a completed task.
- Agree on a reward and how many stars your child needs to earn it.
A child’s own view, with parents involved
Your child can open child mode on a shared device or use a paired device of their own. A timer can track activities with a set duration. When parental approval is enabled, a parent reviews the completed task. You can also reject a task; its reward is then corrected according to the configured rules.
A growth buddy makes progress visible
A growth buddy is a collectible character that unlocks new forms through earned progress. Your child can look at it and play with it. Task progress determines what becomes available; petting does not earn extra stars. There are several buddies to discover, with availability varying by subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Does every activity have to earn stars?
No. Parents set the agreements. For the daily checklist, you can choose tablet time alone or tablet time and stars. Use rewards in a way that suits your child and your family.
Can a child earn more stars for yesterday’s tasks?
Children can look back at previous days. Completing a task from an earlier day does not earn new stars. This keeps rewards tied to the correct day.
Does every child need their own phone?
No. Child mode also works on a shared device or family display. A parent can pair a child’s own device. MyLivin is currently being tested in a private iPhone and iPad pilot through TestFlight.
